I want to explain more clearly how I work with you and your beloved animals, especially because my approach can feel different from what some new clients expect. My intention is never to surprise you, but to help you feel prepared, included, and supported before we begin.

The Navy influenced how I work

My Navy career shaped the way I approach this work. It taught me the value of working together toward a clear goal, using the resources available, and staying focused on what needs to be done. Even though I was a shore duty sailor and didn’t serve on ships, I absorbed this mindset at every duty station. I also learned it from both of my Navy husbands.

When you’re at sea, hundreds of miles from land, you can’t simply send someone to Walmart for the part you need to keep the ship afloat. You assess what’s happening, gather what you have, and work together to find the best possible solution.

That same practical, collaborative spirit is at the heart of my animal communication, medical intuition, and energy healing sessions.

Working toward a goal

My work is different from a traditional psychic reading for humans, where the client may offer very little information and the psychic shares whatever impressions come through. With animals, I prefer to begin with a clearer focus.

Rather than simply telling you what your companion is thinking, saying, or feeling, I will usually ask what concern brought you to the session. The issue may be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. Your observations help give the work direction, and then I use animal communication and medical intuition to tune in more deeply.

My communication style

Some clients expect to hear a long, flowing narrative about what I am receiving. My communication style is often different. More often, I speak in short phrases or brief impressions—almost like bullet points—because I am translating physical sensations, emotional responses, and intuitive images into words as they come through.

Sometimes the information arrives as a visual analogy rather than a literal message. For example, I once saw a 6-pound cat present herself as a fierce sabretooth tiger—that was how she saw herself. Another time, while checking in on a dog’s digestive system, I saw a sign that said, “Closed for business.” In that case, the image reflected that the digestive system had begun shutting down as the dog’s transition neared.

My goal is not only to provide information. My deeper hope is to help bring more peace, clarity, and joy into your relationship with your animal, no matter what the issue may be.

Teamwork

As I check in with your animal, we work as a team. I listen intuitively, sense what may be happening energetically or emotionally, and look for ways we might support improvement, relief, or resolution.

That means I may invite you to participate in an energy healing protocol to help your animal release trauma or stress. You do not need to be trained in energy work. Your love for your animal is already powerful, and when it combines with my experience and intention, it can help support the healing process.

At other times, I may guide you through a simple meditation to connect heart-to-heart with your animal while I bring more focus, light, and calm into the relationship.

Over time, I have realized that the strength of our combined energies can be more powerful than me doing the healing work alone.

You bring your deep love, concern, and hope for your animal. I bring my experience, intuition, and strong desire to help them shift in a way that brings more peace, understanding, and love into your family.
