Pet stress

What’s the soul purpose of anxiety in our pets?

I’m sharing the soul purpose of anxiety in our pets based on my work with clients and and my own adopted animals’ anxiety.

Not just one answer to anxiety

Just in case you’re wondering, there are many causes of anxiety. What caused one animal’s anxiety may not be the same for another animal. This article talks about causes of anxiety in people.

So, we should always ask what’s the cause of our animal’s anxiety. Because that leads to more useful strategies to help them release their anxiety. And it can lead us to understanding the soul purpose of their anxiety. And the Best Bonus – we bond more deeply with them.

I’m all about bonding more deeply with our animals.

Discover the cause of their anxiety

In my sessions, I ask anxious animals the cause of their anxiety. Sometimes my guides help me discover the answers, too.

Here are a few causes they shared with me:

  • Mistreated or neglected as breeding mothers or fathers.
  • Their mother was mistreated or neglected while your animal was in the womb or while she nursed them.
  • Part of dog fighting scenario.
  • A human took their anger out on them physically or verbally.
  • Memories of a past life trauma impinges on this life.
  • They sense non-physical energies that scare them.
  • Something occurred while they were with you. It didn’t seem like a big deal to you, but it scared them.
  • Our own anxiety affects them. You could say they were empathetic.

If you have an anxious animal, try this experiment:

Think of their anxiety as you relax your mind in a daydreamy kind of way. Then review the list I just shared to see if any of these scenarios jump out as a possible cause. Or something else may show up. Become open to realities you hadn’t thought possible.

That’s your intuition. Many times, intuition shows up as “just knowing”, without being able to prove it logically. Thank them for sharing and tell them you get it.

So, what’s the soul purpose of anxiety?

Anxiety points to an energy this soul wants to resolve, to clear. To be rid of. Or at least, lessen so they can enjoy more of life. And they picked you to help them release their anxiety.

Why did they pick you?

Animals, just like people, have a soul family. And you’re part of their soul family. You have a deep connection that survives death because love never dies. They decide to be with you because you’re the right person to help them with this issue.

Maybe they sense your open heart.

Or they know you’ve got patience and compassion or you want to learn how to express it in greater abundance.

Another possibility is in a past life they had an unresolved incident that made them anxious. In this case, they chose you to help resolve this issue .

If they feel anxious because you’re anxious, they are pointing out how your anxiety affects them. This insight might help you heal. Because sometimes even if we won’t face our anxiety for our own sake, we’ll work on it for our beloved animal companions.

What’s the takeaway to the soul purpose of anxiety in our pets?

You’re the perfect person/family to help this being. Because you and they have a soul connection; they chose you. Not to drive you crazy. Rather, to allow you to bring out that best part of yourself that will support them in their recovery.

I’d love to help you.
