Roy’s cat saved his life seems a bit dramatic, but I believe it’s accurate. My friend Roy shared this story with me. As you read Roy’s story, I hope it warms your heart like it did mine!
Roy shares, “I found my current cat around five years ago. A few years earlier, I had lost a favorite cat and knew I wanted another one. But I didn’t act because I just wasn’t ready.”
“I was looking for a Tuxedo cat. And I found one who lived with a local shelter. When I saw him, I immediately knew he was to be mine. They told me he was six months old and very near their mandated kill date. So I saved him from death row.
“And you will never guess the name he was given. It was ROY!!!!!!!!!! We have been best buddies. He’s the best cat ever!!!.
“Maribeth, this is the same one I trained to not leave the porch by walking the perimeter and telling him this is his boundary. He still stays on the porch only. I renamed him Teeg II.” [View more at https://sacredgrove.com/success-stories-exp/#royteeg.]
“A few years ago when I was feeling a lot of tightness in my chest, my cat jumped in my lap and had a very scared look on his face. He started licking my face aggressively. I have to say this was something that was very unusual for him. I pushed him away, but he kept coming back. He would not relent.
“To tell you the truth, I had been feeling horrible for three days. I got the feeling he was trying to tell me something.
“At that point I asked my wife to take me to the hospital. Two hours later I had two stents from an 85% blockage of my heart arteries.
“Good kitty!”
