When something that has been stopping us from enjoying life is resolved, that is healing.
When we see ourselves more clearly and make amends for something we’ve done, that is healing.
When we experience deep grief, but choose to love again or try again, that is healing.
And when we face a physical limitation and do our best to learn from it and become a better person, that is healing.
I know. I talked to a wise woman a while back. I wondered out loud AGAIN why it took me so long to become a healer. She said, “You first had to heal yourself.” I’m a successful graduate of two 12-step programs and have also overcome depression. I finally got it.
But it’s never a done deal. New challenges emerge.
If you’d like some help, contact me. I conduct sessions in person (a must for massage therapy!), Skype and phone calls.[ico type=”icon-link”] Constant Contact Version. [/two_third][one_third]
This section will feature stories about healing modalities and experiences. If any of my clients want to provide a story, please contact me and we’ll share your story.
Have you known anyone with plantar fasciitis?
The Mayo Clinic says “Plantar fasciitis (PLAN-tur fas-e-I-tis) involves pain and inflammation of a thick band of tissue, called the plantar fascia, that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes.
“Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain.”
When we’re not in pain, we can forget how debilitating it can be – especially for others. But you can see it in peoples’ faces.
Being a massage therapist, I first tried stretching the fascia, but found that massage seemed to worsen the pain, probably because it was an inflammation rather than a tight muscle.
So I switched to Quantum-Touch energy healing and the results were gratifying.
The pain decreased during the 15-30 minute session. I did need to do a couple of additional sessions on one client until she was pain free – but then the issue was resolved. [/one_third]
